Merry Meet, I am honored to have found you. I too started out being raised and going to a catholic school when young. My parents didnt actually attend or do much, but they wanted us learn something. Even though my mother always lit candles and had small little altars around the house I didnt think much of them back then. It was just stuff she did to bring us luck and good fortune. About Me
Hello! I'm a pastor's daughter and was raised in a very strict environment. I knew from a little girl that I was attracted to this type of thought process and my parents tried desperately to beat it out of me. It didn't work though as you can see, I have hid it from everyone for years but after having the equivelant of a nervous breakdown, it began to pour out of me. I can no longer hide who I am. If I cannot be loved for who I am then they never loved me to begin with. When I married my wonderful second husband I joined the Catholic Church and squirmed in the pew for years, munched on the crackers and pretended to be good. I wondered how many of them were pretending to be good. I'm tired of pretending. I'm good, I'm bad, I'm all of it rolled up in one and I love mother earth and father god and the goddess, the cycles of the moon and the history behind our heritage. I am a PAGAN!!!! And I tell anyone who asks me. How LIBERATING! Blessed Be! |
