Hello All & Blessed Be .. I am Seleniteraven & my Husband is MekillMandrake . My husband & I are what we like to call either just witches or Cottage Witches. We formally belonged to a coven but with thae group dinamics found it better to venture back out on our own. I have been practising nearly my enitre life , We belive in many many diffrent aspects of many religions & cutures , that is what makes life so beautiful . We are very open minded people who love sharing knowlege & learning new things every day .

Hello.  I became a Wiccan less than a year ago.  I am reading everything I can get my hands on to learn about the Craft.  There is so much to learn, that I have to say that I feel a little overwhelmed.  But I also feel better about myself and life in general since I became a Wiccan. 

I joined this site to commuicate with other Wiccans/Pagans.  I am somewhat isolated from other Pagans where I live.  I am deffinately still in the "broom closet" because my Christian family and friends would NOT understand why I changed religions.  There is a Pagan group that meets regularly that I joined last year.  Unfortunately, they meet about 85 miles from where I live, so I really can't go to many of their meetings.  I am hoping to be able to learn from others on this site. 

I am a middle aged woman who has really made a change in the way I see my life and spirituallity.  I have always been different than my Christian friends and family, though.  I have been a ovo-lacto vegetarian for over ten years now due to my empathy for animals.  I have a live and let live attitude about what consenting adults choose to do as far as their sexual preferences.  I am pro gay marriage. 

Lastly, I chose Morgana for my online name because I love the "Merlin" series on BBC and the Sci-fi channal:D.  And I read that in the early stories about King Arthur,  Morgan Le Fay was a sorceress who was a healer.  I guess in the early stories, it was Morgan that took Arthur to Avalon to be healed.  I think that it was so sad that she was made a villian in later stories.  I guess she was made a villian because Christian readers could never accept a witch as a good character. Blessed be.

I discovered that I was "different" at the age of 9 yrs old...and from then on my Journey has been one of reveations,intuitions, mediumship, an struggles...which always come with the "territory".
